    Pac is not a legit 154lb champion.

    Margo had done next to nothing at 154. And wasn't even a legit top 100 ranked fighter.

    Not anymore legit than Floyd v DLH... The title was thrown in purely for promotional reasons.

    Nevertheless it was a great win for Pacquiao against a guy who was 17lbs heavier and vastly larger in every way.

    Exactly, fighting a reigining champion at the JMW limit who had beaten several top JMWs, is just as legit as fighting at a 150 lb. catchweight for a vacant JMW belt against a guy who hadn't even beaten a top 50 JMW. I don't know how people can't see this.

    Like Ricky Bobby says, if you're not first you're last. Hoya wasn't the consensus top JMW at the time, so therefore he had the same standing as a Margarito at JMW who really didn't have any credntials at JMW.

    Yes. I have no problem with people saying it was a bogus as far as a title being on the line. What I dont understand is the people who try to discredit by saying Marg was weight drained and how Pac didnt fight a legit SWW when in fact, Marg weighed 163lbs for that fight.
