I think as its at cruiser its a closer fight than it could have been. Still thinking and hoping Haye KO, but his chin is questionable and enzo can puch

Yup! Nothing will happen for long periods then someone gets knocked out!
Hayes lousy defence may be his downfall but I'm gonna go with his supperior skills, speed and power for a mid rounds stoppage.

    Advantages:
Maccarinelli has a MUCH better chin than David Haye.
Maccarinelli has better handspeed than Haye.

    Disadavantages:
His footwook is not fluid compared to Haye's.
He is a bit too stiff and upright and can't defend well going backwards. This is something that I see Haye capitalizing upon.

What do you think they each bring to the table?

Haye - POWER, Punch Speed, Accuaracy, Fantastic Boxing Skills, POWER, POWER, POWER, Strengtgh, Heart, Expirience of figting high level opponents. POWER POWER POWER

Macca - Power, Work Rate, Jab, Enzo Calzaghe

what do you expect there strategy to be?

Haye - Haye to soften up the body and then Land a bomb early and make Macca fear the power, eventually break through a tigh defence. Over Power Macca with extra weight. Maybe even trade.

Macca - Fight at a fast pace, hit right hands when Hayes left is low.

    How could each win

Haye - Landing a bomb, outboxing Macca. Macca fighting at a fast pace and underestiming hayes stanima.

Macca - Landing a bomb, fighting at a fast pace and nackering Haye

How do you think the fight will play out

Hayes power being to much for Enzo, being to good a fighter. Haye will be to strong for Enzo

    what is your prediciton

    Haye KO 5

I couldn't choose Double KO - so I'l go with Haye by KO. Somebody's getting KO'ed in this fight.

I'm going to stick my neck & knowledge reputation on the line with a rather bold prediction. The first round bell will ring, and after a minute and a half of sussing each other out, David will unleash a bomb onto Enzo's right temple, knocking the Welshman down. Maacca will get up for the count, just, and will attempt to see out the round, which he will.

Once the second round bell goes, David comes in all guns blazing, and lands some precise jabs on Macca's chin, but Enzo counters with a wild hook that catches David flush on the chin. To many peoples surprise the Hayemaker stays standing. A couple of fierce body shots to Enzo's body thereafter slows the Welshman down, and as such he lowers his left arm for a second, giving David the chance to blast him to the deck with a right hook. Enzo tries in vain to get up but his efforts resemble Judahs infamous chicken dance and David 'The Hayemaker' Haye is the winner with a second round knock out, much to the delight of the fierce crowd.

    David Haye KO2 Enzo Maccarinelli

Haye is technically superior in terms of offense but his lazy defence has always troubled me.

I just have a feeling Macaranelli will win this fight. His uppercut is formidable and if he lands it Haye will not be able to absorb it.

I suspect this will be a cagey affair with both fighters respectful of their raw power. This will suit Haye as his jab alone does serious damage but at some point these two will start throwing bombs.

Very tough fight to call this one. Haye is the better fighter imo but frankly looks a bit chinny at Cruiser and Macaranelli can capitalize on this. Likewise Haye can knock out anybody if he connects.

I don't ****ing know. Somebody's getting knocked out.

Very detailed prediction that but perfectly feasable.

If they start at a slower pace than expected Haye's body punching will certainly affect Macaranelli.

Agreed, if it does go past the first third, I just don't feel Enzo will be able to keep his hands up any longer and will be forced to drag them down to protect his body, opening the door for a Haye barrage. I just don't feel Enzo has any intangibles whatsoever to cope with David. However, I stick to my original prediction, going to put a Haye second round win on at the bookies, should be good odds for round 2.
