If the same Johnson that showed up to fight Froch shows up for the Bute fight, we should have a pretty entertaining night. Then again, Froch's occasional lack of defense helps make a lot of his fights that much more exciting, and I would imagine Lucian's defense will be tighter.
This just doesn't excite me. it's a horrible style match up for the 43 year old Johnson. Johnson will be unable to cope with the speed of Bute. I like competitive match ups and this doesn't seem like one. Cloud vs Bute would be a great fight. Cloud keeps coming and Bute has an arsenal of weapons.
He won't just be scrapped. Bute will get the UD but Johnson is strong, even at 42. Bute will get the fight he came for and win a wide UD. ( 10-2, 9-3, 8-4 ) . Bute is too young, fast and powerful for Johnson at this point but Bute will get a war.
If Glen gases out towards the end like he did against Froch, Lucian might hurt him and send him down for the count.
He might but I'll assume he holds up for now, he has been TKO'd once in his life and over all the wars he has fought, Antonio Tarver, Carl Froch, Montell Griffin, Roy Jones Jr. and B-Hop I am surprised it was only once.
He WILL gas. He always does. Bute 'just' has to win 3 of the first 9 rounds to have the fight in the bag.
Well you dont deny most of my arguments: 1- its the best available 2- nobody says he is the best out there So your case (wanting to see the best fight the best) is void since Bute is fighting the best he can this time.
Stop, Just Stop King Troll. He'll win fair and square. Just stop hating Bute for no reason NO MORE TROLLS
I hope things turn out a bit different then what you suggest. In every Bute fights, it never happend that he lost more than 2 or 3 rounds. So, if it were to happend that Glen win so many rounds, people around Bute will go crazy and the outcome could be....never mind, Bute will do enough to win the majority of rounds and I hope he gets rid of GJ in a better way than Froch did.
Bat was not trolling, he said that GJ will gas, as he did against Froch. Read him again, he's just answering my scenario.
Bute won't win 3 out of the 9 first rounds. He'll win almost every round. He usually takes his time at the beginning of a fight but in that case, he won't have to do that: he already knows Johnson. They had 100 sparrings rounds together. The faster guy will win pretty easily. Unless... (because boxing is boxing). Johnson is an ok fight while waiting for the real ones. Nothing more, nothing less. The best available one.
