WTF? Don't I remember Arreola crying and cursing like a baby after getting his ass handed to him by Vitali? Why does he deserve another big money heavyweight title shot? Answer: He doesn't.

Mistake for Arreola. Step up to a tier below Wlad first. Who he's been fighting and beating lately is too far below Waldo.

arreola actually has a decent shot, better than anyone else in the divsion bvs Wlad imo. Wlad will most ;likely jab his head off for 12 rounds and play it safe like he always does but if Arreola cracks him he's a great finisher and Wlad will be done

    Fight should be in Germany

    :deal

Wlad is the titleholder, the bigger draw, Arreola last fight was God know's where.

How does he have a shot? Maybe if Wlad gets distracted or his mind ain't all there. Otherwise Wlad sidesteps CA's attacks and thrashes him.

Wladimir would look good in a fight against Arreola (highlight reel KO most likely)...that's part of why his team wants the fight I think.

I think Wladimir is willing to fight outside Germany if he's confident the opponent isn't a threat to him. He'd fight Mormeck in France and perhaps even Povetkin in Russia.

I agree and the funny thing is, I think as hes come in in better shape, hes lost some of his explosiveness. I don't think hes looked all that good in all honesty.

i can agree that Helenius' handlers might share your view of it being better to wait. however as a boxing fan, I'd rather see him in there now over guys like CA, JMM, Dimentrenko etc because I pretty much know how those fights will end up - all fizzle. Though I've only seen a little of Helenius, to me it seems he matches up better than nearly all other pretenders, i mean contenders, mentioned in this thread. Wlad hasn't exactly been ruining fighters (physically at least) lately, so I really wouldn't buy an argument that taking a fight sooner rather than later would be all that bad an idea (biggest to date payday plus increased profile so long as he doesn't embarasse himself)

Also keep in mind that the Klits have apparently been turning over rocks in search of potential challengers as evidenced by considering offering a shot to undeserving fighters like chisora, fury, tua, etc and taking on guys like kingpin, arreola, rahman.... So I don't see how Wlad (or even Vitaly) would have a problem fighting Helenius even though his pro experience aint' all that long (though again beating Peter arguably makes him qualified as of late)

ive always liked vitali better anyway, but why wlad...thats just another throwaway fight, we all know the outcome.
