    The answer to your question OP is simple. Hatton will go down as one of the best fighters ever from the UK. Their are many reasons for this. His style, his fights, and the fact that he has had more fans follow him then Lennox and Calzage. Sure, people can say he came up short against the Elite, but with his fighting style it was certain that his punch resistance was fading. IMO Ricky Hatton is a legend in his own right.
