McCline claimed he lost to Klitschko because he was deprived of oxygen by his trainer during camp.

In addition to his "I was drugged" claims, George Foreman claimed he was about to knock out Ali but got distracted by seeing his friend in the audience betray
him by rooting for Ali. Mind you this was from his autobiography By George which came out in the 90s, many years after he claimed he learned to "accept" the loss.

Vinny Paz blamed his loss to RJJ on coming down too fast from
    his caffeine high.

That wasn't an excuse for a loss though, he won that fight in under a minute.

Kermit Cintron said the fumes from the spray/moose in Sergio's hair bothered him.

David Haye's pinky toe excuse is classic and the best example I can think of given the magnitude and hype surrounding that fight.

 Have you ever read American Son?

The Manny Pacquiao and Wladimir Klitschko ones were downright embarrassing though. Same story with David Haye and the multitude of excuses made for Duran-Leonard II.

I can recall RJJ saying that he lost just so that his father doesnt receive credit for the win.
