Fat chance of that happening. And what about Mayweather's speed? He's faster than Calzaghe. Mayweather was able to deal with another quick handed lefty named Judah, when has Calzaghe faced anyone near Floyd's handspeed?
Did somebody just use Judah as a comparison with Calzaghe? Hahaha!! I think Calzaghe would win P4P, much busier than Floyd, giving him the edge. Close points decision.
I sure did. I used Judah as a comparison to Calzaghe in terms of handspeed. People need to stop with this busier ****. You can't beat a superior talent by just being busy.
calzaghe has never fought at middleweight . super middleweight is as light as he has ever had a pro fight. mayweather cannot fill out to 168, does not have the body frame or height . so it will remain hypothetical.
Mayweather beating a left hander with fast punches is irrelevant really, Calzaghe's a few levels up from Judah. They have very similar attributes, Calzaghe's work rate is what shades it for him.
His workrate won't mean **** against a guy with superior defense, great reflexes, great footwork, and great counterpuching ability.
And you call this words of wisdom? You gotta be kidding me right? PBF is not pound for pound # 1 by accident. He got there by beating the best. Has JC beat the best at 168? Has he beaten RJJ, Toney or BHOP in their primes? No, instead he beat a overrated Lacy and a decent kessler. Where was he 6+ years ago when the devision had superstars in it? You're words come from a JC lover and a PBF hater.
I'd like to see how well he counter punches as he's eating a Calzaghe flurry. As you brought Judah into this.....imagine the Judah that troubled Mayweather early doors, with much better stamina and superior mental strength (amonst other things).....that's Calzaghe and he wins.
