    "Sure.... He beat a weight starved Green...." - Iv seen this comment abit over the years,Didn't green win a 'world title' at the same weight ,or so he claims?
    100percent agree with u on soliman.i thought he would of kicked on after he demolished him in the 2nd fight,as guys like bika,wright,joval,ellio etc could not even do to soliman,but he didnt lol.
    echols has slumped now days,but when mundine fought him he had a good record,although he still wasnt at his best(echols that is).
    With geale,winnings winning i guess.
    ottke,he had balls to take the fight,i mean title fght in germany,almost impossible to win as we all know,i dont think he thought ottke had the power to knock him out though.but i give him some cred for ging over there and takin the chance.

    The weight drained excuse is bull****. Green said his training prep was perfect in his post fight speech and said Mundine beat him fair and square several times afterwards. He just used that excuse after he retired.

    I think there was something else which made it a bit harder for Green to get up for the fight than just the weight.

    he was just outclassed
    wieght drain was not an issue, he had fought 16+ times at that weight before with no probs...

    I guess it could have, but not everyone is the same I guess. Sure would have taken a lot out of the team, it seems Dannys brother is pretty close to him.

    Yep mundine just outclassed green all night long no version of green would beat mundine styles make fights & mundine was all wrong for green. green was hurt a few times in that fight.was good to watch tho a boxing lesson 101. cheers
