    Toney at 260 and 60 years old would still beat any version Welliver. Wellivers a joke son, a nobody, a never will be, no skills.

    Please show some respect. Roy Jones and James Toney may be past it and have seen better times, but they're still ATGs and living legends of this sport. And they both achieved far more in their lives than you ever will.

    this should be the fight Toney should pursue if ever he can make the CW limit again. Roy and B-Hop will never fight him, and they don't have to. Tarver probably won't face him either. He wanted no part of Toney at HW.

    And I can tell you this: Toney will not get KOed by Lebedev like Roy was. I can see Toney winning this, even at this stage.
    Marco Huck would be another good fight for Toney at CW. The problem is, Toney would have to travel overseas to get these fights, something he doesn't do...

    That's the pic I was referring to. It's a recent pic. Hard to tell, but to me Toney does not look heavier than 220lbs in that pic. So 213lbs now might indeed be true.

    I'm somewhat bitter with Toney, but I gotta admit it's good to see him look like an athlete again. Not that he is in great shape - for that he should lose another 20lbs - but at least he's looking like somebody who works out regularly again.

    Hvae you seen him at 230 ?
    Anyway, on fight hype toney mentioned he was 215 at the time of the picture and will take a picture that shows his legs and everything in two weeks or so.

    Toney is a fantastic talent but the up and down on the scales will catch up with him just like age in the ring. I agree that he should just concentrate on boxing. There are a lot of interesting fights that could be made with him right now.
