James Toney is in SHAPE and its not Round

    Just saw James he showed up at the amatuer show my kid fought in today, he is probably about 220 at best I would say 210 to be honest this is the best I have seen James Toney since he fought Jirov......

    its good for his health that he is getting fitter but he should still retire, the guy seems very punchy

    Actually you didnt hear the slurring much you could hear it but not as bad as we have heard it, He almost got asked to leave as one of his amatuers lost a point and james went nuts and started talking **** to the ref I got it on video...

    Glad to hear your boy pulled it off. Hope he got to meet the man. Congrats to your son.:good

    Yeah, JT looks like a totally diff man these days. Hopefully he can still fight and give us some more shows. Lord knows he'd beat the likes of Potvetkin, Dimitrenko, and Fury. Maybe he could get a payday vs a K2 if he could string together a couple of top 30 wins.

    A few years ago, Toney getting into shape would've been awesome, but now i expect him to be too old & shot.

    He's fighting an MMA bout soon. Hopefully he'll make a good account of himself actually coming in shape.

    Why didn't Toney lose the weight five years ago? One of my favourite fighters of all time but I don't wanna see his brain getting any more mashed up

    Not in MMA, he won't.

    He'll be embarrassed, again, in shape or not, once they immediately get him on the mat.
