Luis Collazo as mentioned, is the definition.
    Trav Cloud?
    Matthyse (Props to Morales)
I'm sure some muppet will mention Bute, after the Kessler and Pavlik breakdowns, but I disagree with that.

Winky Wright back in the day, might be the biggest example in recent memory.

I'll get crap for this but Ishe Smith. He is a high risk/low reward fighter. He aggressively tries to get fights and not many step up to the plate and he does have a name because of Contender. I also think Jonathon Banks is underrated. I didn't have him trailing that bad in his only loss.

Agree with Geale + Banks. Infact I think there's always a few underated at Cruiser and there is a few at middle at the moment.

If you are talking about the present:

    Orlando Salido-underrated

    Past:

    Jose Luis Lopez-underrated and avoided
Forrest-although he finally got his shot against SSM. wish we could have seen him against Tito, ODLH, Quartey at '47

    humberto soto........according to aztecas

    i'd say maidana

maidana's only losses was a sd at his opponents turf and while he lost to khan, many can argue that the fight could've been stopped

not to mention that instead of ortiz trying to avenge his loss against maidana, he decided to move up against the "champ" berto (which turned out to b the best move of his career seeing as how it landed him a fight with lil floyd)

    is Banks still with K2?

How is Geale underrated? Hes physically as strong as an average flyweight and just average at very best in any other department and avoided? He ducked out of a fight with Maravilla just recently to fight some no hoper who got smashed by Kirkland within few seconds in his hometown where he can act like hes a champion:rofl

    stfu noob

Winky Wright had a time he could not find good opponents that were willing to fight him due to his defensive skills
