Bad news for Kessler (except payday of course). Ward can be a dirty ass fighter but he's also better than Kessler and if he can control his urge to headbutt, grapple and throw illegal blows for 12 rounds (impossible btw) he would still win every round.

 

Froch did fight Kessler on Kesslers home patch.
Ward fought Kessler in Joakland where he was allowed to punch after the bell, hold and headbutt and Kessler gets the warnings :nut

Lets not forget also that Froch had travel probs

 

Did Froch forget his toiletries again? How careless of him!

 

I dont know about that, but do know that his flight was cancelled 3 times due to the volcanic ash cloud and slowed his training believing the fight to have been cancelled. Then Froch was taken by private jet to Denmark a few days before the fight where he then had to take a long car journey to get to the area of the fight and then fulfill press obligations. All that time he was unable to train and had stepped off his training with the belief of the fight being cancelled.
Ward has never experienced those upheavals with all of his fights having been at home.
Froch has had the added stress of having his last 3 fights away and his next fight away

 

That is an astonishing story of hardship and sheer grit. Imagine, having to take a private jet to Denmark from the UK!

Astounding! And to do all this while breathing the toxic fumes of a volcanic ash cloud is even more incredible. It is a wonder that Froch was able to get in the ring that night, let alone lose narrowly on the scorecards.

Yes it shows that he is a warrior in that after believing the fight was cancelled agreed to be taken over to another country and then take the long drive and deal with the press, all before such a big fight in a country he has only just entered when his training has been damaged.
This is where I note that Ward hasnt had to experience such problems with constant home advantage

 

Ward. Most overated fighter of last decade.

 

Ward is still getting better. He is constantly ad******g from the olympic style to a pro style. I thought he looked fantastic once he shortened up his punches in Rd5 vs AA.
Froch will have his hands full in October and I would not be surprised if he gets stopped.
He has never dealt with short punches in bunches combined with boxing skill and athleticism, in fact he has major trouble anytime he faces just pure boxers. Ward will have his way and Froch does not have the power to even the score.

 

I understand Ward will be flying business class to Atlantic city. And Carl said mean things to him yesterday, which has damaged him emotionally and upset his training routine. What a warrior.

So even though Dirrell and Kessler were able to nuetralize his jab, and even though Jermaine Taylor won the first half of the fight boxing Froch, Ward who is superior to all 3 wont?


There is a difference between jabbing plodders like Abraham and Johnson, and jabbing Ward. atsch

 

What Froch has succeeded in doing is lighting a fuse in Ward and he will reap the effects of the explosion come fight night. I kinda feel bad for the man cause his ass is in real trouble.I dont even think his chin is gonna save him and Im sure his boxing skills wont.:bbb:bbb:bbb

 

Froch is deluded, but that's one of his biggest strengths, so....

 

WHat a dick Handled Dirrell Easily?.. He got a gift over Dirrell and lost to the leftover opponent that Ward dominated... Never liked this ******* FROCH!
