This is a fight that has been talked about and negotiated for a while now.Hopkins wanted the fight,but adamek's people supposedly overpriced him.I dont think it is out of the question that adamek squeezes out a decision against vitali klitschko,using good movement and solid body punching.If he does,a fight with hopkins becomes resonable.How would that fight play out?How much speed would hopkins have after putting on the extra 25 pounds?
They kinda ducked Hopkins or so. At least that what i understood at looking some interviews. Hopkins offered a fight for the IBF Cruiserweight title at Cruiserweight for 1.5 mil but they turned it down and probably haven't made anything close to that since.
Adamek and his team wanted no part of Hopkins, he had his plans for his run at the heavyweights so didnt want to set himself back by taking a risky fight at Crusier and possibly damaging his chances of getting a shot at a world title at HW.
Didn't Hopkins low ball Adamek by offering $1 million even though the fight was going to be in NJ where 90% of the fans would've been Adamek's?

After Banks Adamek wanted to fight b-hop and in the interview posted below he said that he has respect for him, wants this fight and he's pretty surre he'll beat him. Hopkins low-balled adamek by offering him no more than 500k, which was laughable considering he was The reigning champ. Other sums were brought up post-factum after negotiations fell apart, only to justify the fight not happening and blame Adamek team for it.
why would Adamek ever fight BHop after a Vitali fight? He isnt dropping in weight and Bhop aint going up. Pointless debate. By the way, Adamek would take out BHop
Great fight it would be. Adamek should offer 500k $ to Hopkins, the same amount that Hopkins offered him while he was a CW champion.
