One of the interesting thing with Pacquiao is that the way he performs can change from one fight to another, and he can showcase different pieces of his game as he chooses. So one fight he might rely more on his power and speed in bombing his opponent out, the next bout he'll use the skills Roach has taught him to box smarter.

In the Margarito fight he was emphasizing speed and skills, particularly in counterpunching and the way he moved, so Margo couldn't counter him.

Cotto was just him using raw speed and power to overwhelm Cotto. Well, that and the fact that his ability to withstand punishment was better than Cotto's.

The Hatton fight put it all together. He was too fast, too strong, too accurate in counterpunching when Hatton tried to pressure him and get close, and too skilled for Ricky.

The Oscar fight relied more on speed and skill at first, as he used his better movement and angles to hit Oscar quickly and then deny Oscar a chance to do anything about it. Later though, as it became obviously that Oscar couldn't do anything to stop Pacquiao it became more about speed and power as he went fully on the attack.

Diaz was was about speed, skills and accuracy. Diaz could stand up to punching power, but was overwhelmed by the speed, the accuracy, and the tactics. (Particularly how Pac would counter when Diaz came forward, or how when Diaz jabbed he dropped his other hand, and would get caught with a hook all the damn time when it happened).

Speed was Pacquiao's big advantage against the three great Mexicans, Barrera Marquez and Morales all had trouble when Pac cranked things all the way up.

Power was probably most on display in fights like Lucero, Jorge Julio, Ledwaba, Sasakul, (a cagey champ who Pac challenged for his first attempt at a world title, and who solidly outboxed Pacquiao until he finally caught up with Sasakul) and Rakkiatgym, a 1st round KO that got sent to the hospital after the fight and simply could not deal with Pacquiao's punching power.

    lol. Idiot.

Look at the way you expressed yourself in your prior statement. You clearly stated that "Margarito/ODLH" were "drained punching bags". But nice try in trying not to look dumb. Too late though.

Oh.. and who wouldn't look good against a punching bag? i don't know.. Sergio Martinez, Miguel Cotto, Kermit Cintron maybe?

Those videos prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has only fought weight-drained, past prime fighters.

That punching bag schooled and destroyed a prime sergio martinez. According to ***** logic on another thread where floyd beats margo cause he beat the man that beat the man, pac has beat sergio. Amazing what u can do when u apply ***** logic. Didnt even realize floyd dominated the sport for 3 decades till i came on the ESB boards.
