ATM i dont see anyone stopping Gamboa....Mikey still needs more time...maybe in the future but as of now i dont think so. Donaire is still unproven at 126lbs, first we need to see if he carries his speed, power and most importantly his punch resistance at Feather. Lopez?

Right now no one at 126lbs and 130lbs ****s with Gamboa.

don't you heard? Garcia's ppl don't want him against Gamboa, they are staying clear off Gamboa and Donaire is 118 lbs that had always fought fighters smallest than him, what make you think that he can hurt Gamboa, or match Gamboa's speed, and very important how he's going to take Gamboa's punches and not fold? You hate for the Cubans boxer is making you a moron.

There is no doubt he needs to tighten up his D, athletic ability will only get him so far and he'll learn that as he moves up in weight.

It did dilute it enough against lower level fighters..... He's only fought one good fighter and that was Salido and Salido dropped him and even with his win over JuanMa, Salido isnt THAT good. When he starts fighting better fighters then we will really see how much he can get away with it. and Even though Ponce is slow he;s got long arms and throws arkward shots and could definitely caught Gamboa.

he dominated salido more than 80% of the fight, and got dropped when he was conducting the offense, got up with big smile on his face to keep dominating.
and Solis isnt a good fighter?...Mtgawa isnt a proved fighter?...

His punches are too wide for a counter but he can get away with it because of speed. JuanMa got a chance with him if they do fight.

You wish! Gamboa is the next P4P King. M*** F***a is just amazingly skilled, power, speed, flair, everything, I've been saying it for years. He is the stuff!

You don't understand the Cuban boxing style. Gamboa may lower his hands but he does it when he feels it's safe. He lunges in when he knows his prey is hurt or could be hurt ( you get this when you have 300+ amateur bouts like he does ). Gamboa has a much better chin than most people think, if you carefully watch his knockdowns you will see that he has never been closely hurt and they have been for him being mostly out of balance.

Maybe it's just that you don't like him, but Gamboa is the best featherweight on the planet. Just watch how he takes care of Ponce de Leon on Sept 10 and you will see what I mean. He doesn't get all of those praises from the experts for nothing you know?

Gamboa is above the rest ... ;)

¿ Salido a good fighter now ? , before he fought Gamboa everybody was calling him a bum , that Gamboa shouldn't fight him , that Gamboa should step up , etc , now that Salido has defeated Lopez it turns out that Salido is the ONLY decent oposition Gamboa has fought .... ¿ What about Solis then ? , ¿ does he have to KO Lopez too in order to qualify as a good oposition for Gamboa ? ....
