I don't automatically route for British fighters just because I am British, put it that way. I use my eyes to see who is the best and who isn't. And stylistically, Rios is all wrong for Mitchell, I could be Kevs best mate and see that.

 

Come on! It won't be KO1 - absolutely no way! At the very least he would keep him off him for 3 minutes.

If he KO'd Antillion in 3 who's a come forward fighter and Mitchell plays an evasiveish game (which is most likely) then he will at the very least last more than 3

 

Yeah, most probably. But in terms of levels, it's Rios KO1 Mitchell all day (and I don't even rate Rios!!!!)

I just can't get my head round that anyone who doesn't think Mitchell is World class is a 'hater'. He just isn't!

Mitchell has little defence going backwards and forwards. And going backwards he only peppers with shots, as Katsidis showed, it's not enough to keep a World class fighter from coming forward.

Antillon-Mitchell comparison doesn't work. Antillon went the distance with Soto. Mitchell has only faced one World class opponent and got battered.

Nope. The lad looked like a rabbit in headlights i mean he was jabbing backwards for 2 and a bit rounds. He was focused against Murray yet still ate punches for most of the night. His defence has never been great and the Prescott fight kinda inflated a false sense of security.

If the Rios fight doesnt come off I would love to see a Katsidis rematch but when Mitchell beats him people will just say Katz was past his best after his beatings at the hands of the Ghost & JMM.

 

It's pretty clear you're a fanboy now. "Of course" a right Mitchell beats Katsidis? Are you putting Mitchell in the same category as Casamayor, Diaz, JMM and Guerrero? Laughable. Those guys had fought and beaten the absolute best out there and Katsidis gave them all hell. Mitchell wasn't competitive for more than a minute of the eight he was in there.
