    :lol::think

    Bit harsh...

    I hope he wins, but this is tough obviously. Martinez is fringe world class IMO. The only reason Rendall beat him is because his chin is great and he has super human strength at that weight, he just absorbed Martinez's work, took the sting out of him and outworked him down the stretch. For most people that isn't the smartest of gameplans against Martinez so anyone that is going to beat him needs to come up with the goods. It's not as easy as the idea 'Rendall beat him, so can Fighter A'.

    This fight is one of those that could be disastrous for a prospect or the making of him. Risky anyway.

    I will add that this is nothing against Frampton; solid enough operator, good kid and FAIR PLAY to the size of his bollocks for taking this fight :deal

    I like him :good Just don't rate him based on what I've seen of him, and the bleating of his fans pisses me off, to be frank.

    Only those that are over the top nuthuggers.

    There are a lot of Irish posters on here (Ed, Jpab to name two) that I count amongst my favourite posters.

    Just the mentalists :D

    ok ok its not a good thing to hype a prospect up so much,but if barry mac chooses to help guide him to a world championship then i think it is worth giveing frampton a chance

    I dont see the hype with Martinez if anything. So what he bowled over Dunne in double quick time what s he done apart from that? Booth had gone you could see that during the Arthur fight. Step up for Frampton yes, mission impossible most certainly not

    Why? Because he beat an old Peroza 25+ years ago?!

    Agree with all of this.

    Martinez isn't really hyped, is he? He rightly gets a bit of cred for whooping on Dunne in double quick time, quicker than more illustrious opponents. But apart from that, thats about it.

    I like Martinez, he's only 25 and he's fought some good opponents and mixed it up well. He's a tough guy. This is an important fight for him as well, he'll be hoping to get a world title shot.

    I think big step up for Frampton ( first 12 rd'r ) but I read a thread on the scene ( Barry McGuigan ) .He thinks Frampton will beat Kiko .Talking about Paul Weir and George Groves .Weir winning the WBO belt in only 6 fight's and Groves the Commonwealth in only 9 also just saying Frampton will have too much for Kiko .

    Kiko won the first Munroe fight, if the fight is in Paris or other neatral place Kiko have another victory in his record. In the second fight he gassed and Rendall fought very well, I admits that. Rendall have an important advantage because his lenght, but I would like the trilogy, last chance in Valencia or Barcelona, not in Nottingham of course.

    Frampton has not a chance, he never get hitted the way Kiko hit. Put your money on the spaniard.
