I dunno if he has a shot, but he definitely DRESSES better than Bute!

That's some serious GQ stuff right there.

SP-Immortal - Well Bute was down for longer than 10 seconds. Maybe he would have gotten up quicker had the refferee been counting at the correct speed but he was down for longer than 10 seconds and it didn't look like he would have gotten up. He wasn't winning a shut out up to then either, he'd lost two or three rounds. The rematch was a great performance though.

Bute's power has been getting a lot of credit for knocking over guys like Miranda, MaGee, DeLeon etc which does prove he can hit a bit but all of these guys have been knocked out at world level, Johnson hasn't been stopped since he was very green. I'm pretty sure Andrade has been stopped since too so this KO your predicting is very unlikely. I see the typical hard fought decision, possiblely with questiontionable decisions from the judges and ref like in every fight.

    Andrade hasn't been KOed since.

I'm not predicting a KO against Johnson for Bute. Glenn has never really been hurt, even Hopkins didn't hurt him.

OK, who is this De Leon bum you keep bringing up? The same one Allan Green KOed? Bute never fought him.

ANd second point, buy yourself a watch that indicates seconds and check for yourself how long it takes Bute to get up. It's under 10 SECONDS, irrespective of the speed that the count is done at.

Sorry yeah checked boxrec just there. Andrade lost to a guy who was 15-3 but looking at Bute's record Mendy, MaGee, Brinkley, Zuniga, Miranda, Joppy and a few more of these guys have lost by KO to other fighters. The Andrade KO was good but it took two tries to score that. Bute has not shown greater power than Kessler or Froch and only an idiot would pick him by KO.

More like 6, but corruption is what it is, and the truth won't change a damned thing in the long run.:deal

Kessler and Froch are not southpaws. Neither do they have an intense body attack, nor a viscous UC.

Johnson has fought his share of great fighters, legends, even, but never has he fought such an offensive fighter as Bute.

I see Johnson holding his own until about the 6th or 7th, then the Bute body attack will have GJ dropping those hands and trying to lean on Lucian. That's when GJ will get caught badly by an UC followed by a body shot, and down he'll go.

Only a Bute hater would say that Kessler and Froch are better over offensive fighters than Bute, so I get why a hater would say that only an idiot would pick Bute by KO.

Based on his last performance, Johnson has slowed abit. This will definatly give Bute the advantage. But with that said, Johnson is a truth machine. When its over Bute will know he was in a fight. Even the **** talking Froch showed Glen respect after their fight. Froch said he was an oak tree that kept coming. There is no reason to believe this fight wont be any different. Glen will come forward and throw big bombs and if Bute can weather the storm, I see him winning a close decision. Glen doesnt have a good track record on the road, but the man takes on ANYBODY with the balls to step into the ring with him. I personally believe Glen will someday be a HOF candidate. As for Bute good luck and pack your lunch, your in for a long night

i think he has a shot. johnson is way better than any fighter bute has ever fought. he can't afford to let bute fight outside. keep the fight in a phone booth. bute is a southpaw and johnson's right hand is his money punch so to me johnson is a very live underdog.

He's got a chance. I always think of Bute almost getting knocked out by Andrade. Still betting on Bute though

i dont think he got ****ed out of 9 losses...
but all the people he loses to are top guys...which says alot about his balls, because most take forever to fight 1 top guy...either way, he does enough to lose and will lose once again

    Bute has showed greater timing then Kessler or Froch, also most of his KO's came from punches opponents didn't see;
for yor standards i may be an idiot too beacause i believe there are 30-35% chances Johnson will be stopped by either a bodyshot or by some devastating combos which includes some bodyshots

Buy yourself a watch, you'll look less stupid. Bute got up at 8, 9 maximum. All you have to do is count.

Andrade has not been KO'd since. You are talking about things you just know nothing about.

How will Johnson keep the fight in a phone boot? Bute is faster than him and has greater footwork.

i'm just saying that's what he has to do. whether it can be done, we have to find out. timing can neutralize speed. they have sparred together and are good friends, from their camps have said it was a very competitive sparring session.
