its all gone very quiet for the boxing binman! anyone heard any whispers about when he might be out next?

I thought at the time that the move to hatton promotions might be a mistake, just didn't seem like a fit and hatton promotions seems to focus it attention on the north!

Its a shame because WBA belt holder Rico Ramos looked very beatable when he took the belt of Shimoda and Rendall should be putting himself in the mix.

Out again on the Sykes-Buckland II undercard next month and is apparently fighting the winner of Martinez-Frampton after that.

Move to the Hattons isnt looking all that rosy now. I thought the reason he left Maloney was because he didnt want to go back in at Euro level which was offered to him.

Would have been better for him and Booth if they had fought each other in a massive domestic fight. The winner going for another eliminator and then world shot. Leaving the Brit and Euro for the young guns to scrap over.

With hindsight, it has been a bad move so far. His popularity is dwindling rapidly and that's because he hasn't been 'out' there. Apart from a low-key, uninspiring fight on the Khan-McCloskey card on Primetime, he hasn't been on our screens since last October against Nishioka.

He was really flying (despite the loss to Nishioka), but the brakes have been put on his career since his promotional switch. Sad to see really, Munroe is a good personality for British boxing and a great guy to have on the domestic scene.

I think it's safe to say that he should pretty much write off 2011 and hope to come back with a bang next year.

 Yeah, Munroe-Martinez III doesn't exactly get the pulses racing!
