    He should beat Ortiz via KO or school him badly and Pac should look terrible against JMM, then maybe you can make a strong case for him being number 1.
    If both he and Pac wins, regardless if Pac had a close fight or not, he should remain at number 2.

    Pac's fight is more crucial because it will once and for all dictate whether Pac has improved or if he's just a product of careful matchmaking.

    Right, and he will be inactive after the fight for another year and a half = exhibition fighter. Makes sense to me.
