Dangit! Was pulling for Sergei. Liakovitch could have won this fight if he'd been more careful in the 8th and stayed mobile. Also bad luck with the broken nose.

Once again the cumulative effect of RH's power shots makes the difference.

I'm from Finland so there is a chance that i'm a bit biased but I had Helenius leading the fight. It was close but for me it looked like Helenius was the boss in the ring and there was a feeling that if someone gets stopped it is surely Liakhovich. Helenius didn't look too good but he is a relentless warrior with a monster punch and he is a fabulous finisher. He is too raw for Klitschkos but everyone should be careful with him in the ring. He is hard to break. He takes too much bombs to his own chin but he is a ****ing hard to break down. He always finds the way to win and he always finds the way to be a boss in the ring.

You can talk **** about him but he is a ****ing great warrior to watch and he can give problems to anyone. He is difficult to break down and he always finds the way to lands those big bombs. And I enjoyed about that fight!

With a Larry Merchant style: Robert Helenius - I LOVE YOU

Can't wait to see him back in ring.

I've got nothing against Helenius but it's tough to see one of your favourite guys get stopped like that, especially ahead on the cards. Great fight anyway

Criticise Helenius for all you want, but he's consistent in the way he wins. Looks like the guy is pretty confident about his chin and uses it to exhaust his opponents and then ceases the moment to knock them out. I don't it's a fluke, it's his strategy, no matter how ugly it looks.

its boxings, as long as the guy isn't trapped on the ropes, I see no reason for the ref to stop the action, he got tagged clearnly but he wasn't out on his feet and was going to fall, that is what the count is for.

Nobody is questioning that. I just state the obvious. Helenius is very crude but big, durable and powerful. Not the type of a fighter I like.

Helenius will never be ready to win a single round against a Klitschko.

Maybe you misset it, but Liakhovic's corner threw the towel, so kind of pointless talking about a premature stoppage.

No way. Liakhovich was 6-0 or at least 5-1 up at one point :-(

He's still a good fighter. Great power and decent chin by the looks of things

Helenius was ahead on the score cards. Also White Tyson in his fight had pretty even rounds at the beginning. We who are not too drunk don`t count punches that were blocked.

I didn't mean it was a premature stoppage, just seeing him pick himself up like that looking like he'd been in a car crash

This I agree with. But he's got a very solid chance against just about everybody else.
