In their primes Jones and Toney were better fighters than Calzaghe.
Ottke was a runner and had manny hometown decisions.

Toney better than JC? Even if we are going back to the early to mid 90ties, Toney relied too much on his punching power and was too inactive, just tried to lure his opponents into his prefered range - his defensive mastery would not have prevented him to loose vs. JC, who has/had great footwork and fast hands (of course not as fast as RJJs) that would have deranged Toney...

Ok, you have a point. Stylistically Calzaghe is a bad matchup for Toney, but Toney in his prime was a master!

Only a supernatural can defeat a supernatural in a prime/prime match up and Toney's certainly not a supernatural, though he did lose handily to a supernatural in Roy Jones, who's possibly the most supernatural fighter ever.

A legend? Common, Calzaghe has never fought another p4p Top fighter! Lacy and Kessler were verry notable wins, but not great, and Ubank was past his prime when Calzaghe fought him. Jones was on another level than Calzaghe. Before he fought Ruiz Jones was unbelievable. I know, Jones has not fought manny greats himself, but its the way he fought, you could clearly see he was something special when you saw him fight, doesnt matter who the opponent was.

    you tit.

benn puts ottke to sleep, brutally. can't be having collins above either benn or eubank either despite his wins over them. they were both post prime by the time he got to both fighters, he admitted so himself.
