Was Tyson mismatched towards the end of his career?

They could have chosen better people, but the bottom line is he was physically declined and mentally shot to pieces.

Prime Tyson disappeared after Spinks. And sadly, he doesn't have the wins to support his reputation as a fighter, but god damn he was fun to watch.

 

YES! Don King knocked Tyson out! He destroyed his career! Tyson was exciting fighter, but went down his as soon as Don King got hold of him. If Cus had lived his career would have lasted much longer, then Jimmy Jacobs' death totally destroyed Tyson, Don King got rid of Kevin Rooney, what can I say? Tyson's corner was using a condom on Tyson's eye! No joke! Tyson had too many "fair weather" friends!

 

The loss of Rooney, the KO by Douglas, and the prison sentence all collectively ruined Mike Tyson. Before these I would wager Tyson against almost any fighter in history.

 

Tyson got so out of shape it was so sad..............................
