Why can't they fight eachother. If they really wanna make a comeback ( Jermain Taylor couldn't find an opponent for August, Winky broke his hand a month before his planned fight with Matthew Macklin in sparring and had to cancel. ) why not fight eachother? Taylor got a draw with Wright a few years ago and never had a rematch, don't get me wrong I hope they stay retired but this might as well happen, they both need a win to get on track for whatever they think that have left to proof or do ( ? ). It could be at 154 or 160 ( No SMW ). I don't want either to make a comeback but it would be an interesting fight even if there both shot. Who wins?

Don't wanna see Taylor fight because of his health, and I don't care to see Winky fight because I simply don't want too.

I was actually thinking this, after checking up on both to see if they'd rescheduled their comeback dates. :yep

Why not settle their business? So what if both are probably well past their peaks and a little rusty? That didn't stop Hill and Maske. :deal

I have never been a fan of Taylor but I respect him nonetheless. It seems that he is already in good shape and that he plans to fight as a MW. His weight seems well under control. The long rest must have done him some good I'm sure. What I'm not sure is how he will react when he is back into a grueling kind of fight. All the best to him! Should he fight Winky?? I think not!

Thats true. I was bored today and I watched Shane Mosley Vs. Winky Wright 2. And it got me thinking about the Taylor draw and I thought, Taylor wants a comeback, Winky isn't great at this point, but Taylor and Winky both want a win ( since they both need a win, they retired on a loss, plus they have a draw together so they have unfinished business. ) It would be a good Co-Main event bout for Cotto-Margarito or Marquez-Pac PPV. People like Winky and Taylor, they are both ATG's ( or close ) so I might raise buys :thumbsup That is a great fight to have on a PPV card Co-Main event or an HBO regular boxing after dark Main Event.

Why not they got a draw 3 - 4 years ago. They should both stay retired but they are close to the same level now. I give Taylor a small edge but I am a Winky fan so I have to believe he will win.

We should have known Taylor was a little chinny when Wright seemed to momentarily wobbled him in the 9th round with a straight left hand, when his back was against the ropes.

It was a good fight. Rematch would be good in November or December, when Ronald "Winky " Wright comes back in November or December as he said, Taylor will have fought by then once maybe, And they can finish up!
