Maybe not on the level of Klitchkos, but he was great in amateurs and has some good wins in pros, so I would say he is better fighter than just "solid"

You should spar with some of this level guys. I think you would change your mind.

Povetkin's handspeed is pretty freaking good. I dunno what you saw.

Why I just don't think I can contain myself with the anticipation of such an action packed year. :-(

I scored it for Sasha, but it was close and I was pretty drunk, so I’m not sure what score should have been.
However everyone watching it with me seemed to think that Povetkin has won, before result was announced

Maybe I rewatch it and Helenius fight later this week

Yeah it was good fight. Always great to see top-10 guys fighting it out and not just wait for title shot. (Well technically they did wait for the title shot but anyway)

At least none these guys started to run from the other, that's a plus.
And none of them was bigmouthing the other and failed to deliver at fight night, that's another bonus.

They were just fighting for the bogus WBA "regular" belt, which no serious boxfan rates as legit...

    Atlas was clearly irritating Povetkin.

The three fighters you mentioned were already seasoned pro's. What ever happened to the haters who were actually smart enough to twist facts to make their point. You ****ers aren't even trying.

One of the most boring fights I ever saw. Povetkin is beatable fighter, Chagaev rocked him and if he was more active he would beat him. Povet is no HW saviour.

    - Arreola did not fight anybody.
    - Haye was too inexperienced as a heavyweight.
    - Chambers should have fought a couple more contenders.

By the way Atlas talked to him, something tells me Povetkin has a fragile psyche and is not a fighter who endures adversity well.

Wow, are you that desperate for a serious contender, that you start imagining things? The guy is painfully slow, both offensively and, more importantly, defensively.

Chagaev was tagging him pretty easily in the early rounds. If Chagaev hadn't totally gassed-out, he would have won easily. - And Chagaev 'aint exactly an ATG contender.

You forgot to mention that both men were fat. Yet people say Adamek has no business at HW.
