Sure, if you disregard that Henderson guy.

I dont see any of those guys beating him. His reflexes are absolutely freakish. Only other guy ive seen doing that **** on that level is Sweet Pea. Bones has a shot with his size wrestling and brutality, but thats about it

Bones would crush him. Terrible stylistic match-up for Anderson. I agree he'd beat all the rest, but Henderson, Shogun and Sonnen are all very live dogs, and both Belfort and GSP would still be very interesting fights as well as good names/achievements.

This. Bones destroys him, GSP MIGHT be able to grapple**** him, Sonnen has a good chance of doing it again, and the rest have a decent chance if they have their best night ever. Hendo, as much as I like the guy, doesn't have much chance, at all, simply because of how shitty he performs at MW these days. Obviously age has considerably hindered his ability to shed water weight.

    No. :nono

  6. You talking about the Dan Henderson that hasn't used his wrestling in 5 years, the Henderson that got wrestle ****ed by Jake Shields, the Henderson that dominated Silva in the first round, and thought he was Muhammad Ali in the second?

Why do you think Shields goes to 170 after handling Hendo? Because stylistically he is a terrible match up for Anderson. Can't have your GOAT losing while Fedor is still relevant.

This is a better fight than who ever Silva will be fighting next. Who else is there at MW?

    Anderson - Sugar Ray Robinson
    Fedor - Harry Greb

Anderson has better performances, amazing ability, overall he is better, I think...
Fedor has better wins, against Minota and Cro Cop....

You said 10 out of 10 to any good wrestler with submission knowledge. Olympic caliber wrestler, Dan Henderson, is as much of that description as anyone in mma.

Oh, wait, you're saying Shields is the man to beat Anderson. I don't fully write off any top caliber fighter against another opponent, but I don't think Shields gets past Anderson's reach advantage. I would take Silva by stoppage for that fight.

    Reach Knowlege, Bitchblike, Kod.

Anderson is a good fighter no doubt, but to be considered as GOAT with his resume is insane to me. People talk about the way he dominated somebody like Forrest Griffin for instance, but now...Everybody realizes how freakin sloppy Griffin actually is.
I would agree that he's probably the most talented MMA fighter currently, but record wise who does Silva have that matches up with a prime Nog, prime Cro Cop, etc...Also, i know Silva fights in a division with a smaller gap, but who has he fougth that is soooo much bigger and stronger than him? If Fedor wanted to get outweighed nearly every fight, and sometimes more than 100 pounds that's his business, but Silva isn't small for his division. He's got the best reflexes, the best speed, while actually being one of the biggest. Fedor won a lot of fights with durability. Not being the most skilled, not being the fastest (though he could explode quite well), not being the biggest or in the best shape, he won on determination... Hard to beat a resume based on ATGs, much bigger opponents, brutal wars, comeback victories, and seemingly being either a man who hit the lottery many times or the toughest SOB on the planet to stay loss free for an entire decade.
Silva has none of that. The only war he's been in was against Sonnen, in which he was dominated for far to long, and he definitely hit the lottery with that sub. Honestly I think GSP wrestles Anderson down, and keeps him there if they meet. Of course Jon Jones beats him if he'd decide to move up.
Like I said one of the most talented fighters, but people are really overrating his status. He could become GOAT, but in my mind he definitely needs a couple of spectacular victories over some spectacular fighters.
