    if he was to retire today would he be ranked as one of the greats>

    Nah, not in the class of the true greats of the sport's history. One of the best fighters of the era, though.

    He's just as much an all-time great as the rest of the Fabulous Four; Morales, Barrera, and Pacquiao.
