Agreed...i still like Foreman he's too damn funny especially during the Cotto-Malignaggi fight...calling him "Malignoggi" and the whole snake and mongoose comparison was a nice touch:lol:

The record will show I'm no great fan of Green as a fighter, either - but I call 'em as I see. Green would be better than MANY of the commentators currently working fights. If only HBO would can that punk Kellerman and replace him with someone like Green who actually knows something about the sport!

Green did an excellent job, he should have a future in the broadcast booth after his career is over.

Yeah he did a great job last night commentating. He knows his stuff and he's very well spoken and honest. I like him as a fighter too unlike alot of people here on ESB. But it would be great to see him on HBO or even Showtime. Get em Sweetness!

I have had a lot of respect for Allan as a boxer. I believe he was ill for the Miranda fight. Maybe not nearly as bad as they make it out to be, but he was not 100%.

I now have even more respect for him as a person. He talks very well and showed the right amount of respect to Edison.

I thought he did a great job. He hit the nail on the head when he called Pascal garbage.

I would also have to agree, great commentary by Green. Maliggnaggi is another fighter that really knows the sport and could do a great job also.

yea he is a sharp guy, definitely isn't punch drunk and he knows wtf he is talking about. He definitely should look into that as a career or a side job if boxing doesn't work out the way hes planning. I'd love to see him on HBO even he is really good.

He did real well. Haven't always been a fan of his cocky side but he was quite articulate with Brian Kenny, who seemed to be genuinely happy that he had a guy in there to conversate with who knew his stuff.

On a side note....anyone know how much a commentating job at HBO or Showtime would pay? Just outta curiosity.

Allan has seemed a lot more comfortable in his own skin since the operation.
I'd like to see him win a belt.
