Quite possibly, I just meant that as Cleverly seemed genuinely keen to fight Braehmer, it is a shame for him that he is in this position now that he has the belt without the credit, as he was happy to go a tougher route. At each point, he has taken the creditable approach - he would hardly turn down the vacant belt. Just a shame that ****** couldn't/wouldn't rustle up a tougher fight for him by now to legitimize the reign early, start off on the right foot, as I am sure that Cleverly would be up for the tough fights.

 

I don't blame him at all for taking the chance of a belt, or blame him for the opponent he ended up with. I just don't hold his WBO title in high regard when you look at the other fighters/ champs in that division.

Too many people letting their heart rule their head on this thread. This is a mismatch and you will see that come fight night. I know bellew is a good lad and posts on here but take the blinkers off people.

Clev will destroy Bellew. Bellews career will be ruined after this fight, unless he's content with being just a hometown glamour boy then he should give up the game after he is demolished by Clev. I hope he's got other career options other than boxing because the money he'll make from this fight won't last that long.

 

All of Clev's belts were vacant when he won them too. Has that ever happened before? British, Commonwealth, European and World Champion without facing a champion?
