Fight Hype Essentially Admits They Blew The "Koncz Is Fired" Story

So basically, after accusing Tim Smith of being a liar, you now want to change your assessment of your colleague's 'journalistic integrity' and just claim he was duped? Duck down with that bullsh!t, man.

Once again, you are guilty of the same thing you accuse others.

First off, here's the excerpt from his 12/25 piece:

Tim Smith has, AFAIK, NEVER stated his source was an email. (I am willing to be wrong about this, but I can't find it). Teddy Atlas is the one who said his (Teddy's) source saw an email asking those questions.

Don't conflate.

Not only are ASSUMING they have the same source, and that that source was these emails, but you take the even FURTHER step of claiming the source was this Tim James character. Again, you don't have a dayum shred of evidence to back ANY of this up, other than a profound WISH for it to be so.

So not only are you making HUGE leaps in logic, but then you have the unmitigated gall to chastise your 'sports media' brethren for the very same lack of due diligence that you show in these posts in abundance.

This ridiculous sanctimony can only come from two places: either a die-hard Pac Kool Aid drinking shill who is willing to defend ANY B.S. in spite of knowing better or an absolute, brain dead idiot.

No. DobyZhee will ignore all the news that gets posted saying its not a big deal but will jump on every minor detail posted about Floyd's camp. That's standard ******* practice.

basically if you hire an accountant, you hire another accountant to keep eyes on that accountant.

 

Floyd's camp isn't as flashy as Manny's camp. Nobody knows Floyd's business except his own. He's done a lot to keep his personal business..his own business.

 

A little bit of old news, but just for fun and to clarify, it was actually Lem Satterfield of RingTV.com who "confirmed" from a source inside of Pacquiao's camp that Koncz was fired.

Not sure why all the focus is on Fight Hype, but if they're not "credible", what does that say about Lem Satterfield and Ring Magazine?
