Agreed about Arreola, he is an overrated square shouldered boxer with very limited skills, has no place in the elite.

The guys you listed would make for a great tournament. Every fight would turn to be good and suddenly you get excitement at heavyweight.

 

Great list, but how about a super SEVEN?

Add Bogdan Dinu, if he were to have a few more solid wins by then, and you have quite an acceptable "super" list.

Haye should probably be in there, too, but then again, F~ck 'im.

My money would be on Boytsov, Dinu, or maybe Helenius if he can up his aggression and improve his balance slightly. Povetkin & Perez would be the "Allan Greens" of this tourny, if you know what I mean. Fury would end up somewhere in the middle.

If it was the Alternate Gay Rainbow Heavyweight Super 6 we were talking about I might pick her too, but unfortunately she's suffering from a life threatening baby toe injury, plus she said she was retiring.

 

If these are the 6 boxers and they use a round-robin style like the current 168 Super 6. A lot depends on how they are matched up.
If they use a NFL playoff style single elemation bracket which I think is what they should have done with the S6 and should do with this.

Ranking them as of Sep 2011. I'm also going to pretend that any fights these guys have coming up are not going to happen
1. Alexander Povetkin. Curent WBA champion
2. Tomasz Adamek. Former champion at 175 & 200.
3. Eddie Chambers. He pretty good for a short (in heavyweight terms) somewhat fat guy.
4. Robert Helenius. Stiff as board but he apears to have a good chin and can punch.
5. Chris Arreola. He's the most enteaianing boxer of this group. Has great power espicaly early. His weight can be an issue
6. Tyson Fury. I'm not sold on Fury yet.
Round 1.
3. Eddie Chambers vs. 6. Tyson Fury. Chambers has been in with 2 gaint heavyweights Wald Klitchko & Alexander Dimitrenko. Going 1-1. Dimitrenko who Chambers beat is better than Fury. Based on that factor. I see Chambers by decision.
4. Robert Helenius vs. 5. Chris Arreola. If Arrola comes in in shape I think he can get to Helenius. I'm going to give him the benfit of the doubt. I think whoever wins this match up has a very good chance to win outright. I think Arreola hurts Helenious and holds on for a decision win.
Round 2.
1. Alexander Povetkin vs. 5. Chris Arreola. I have never been all that impressed by Povetkin and I think he will lose his WBA championship the next time he fights anyone decent. Arrolel is better than decent.
Arreola by mid round stoppage.
2. Tomasz Adamek vs. 3. Eddie Chambers. Adamek is one of those guys who I try to convince myself he's as good as everyone says he is. Chambers is a decent boxer. If Chambers comes in at -210, I think he wins. Like with Arreola in the first round I'm going to give Chambers the benfit of the doubt.
Chambers by close decision.
Final. 3. Eddie Chambers vs. 5. Chris Arreola. When He's in shape Arreola is as good as anyone not named Klitchko. Chambers is pretty good, but I think at his best Arrola is better.
I think Arreola takes a clear decision of a late round stoppage.

 

He hasn't impressed me yet, and I don't see him getting any better with age. Even if he managed to improve his defense, he's simply too slow.

 

haye is not scary to any heavyweight anymore..he showed his true selfe against klitschko..haye fights scared..but scares no one.

 

hellenious has the power to win it..chambers has the skill to win it..adamek would give anyone a tuff nights work win are lose. fury has a outside chance..i think he is still to green. povetkin..could win it if he dont fight hellenious..just to much power and i dont think povetkin has the defence. arreola was beaten soundly by ademeck already..if i was to pick one guy right now..it would be hellenious..i feel this is his time he only has 16 fights are so..but look who he has beat..former champions..
