May came out of retirement as a welter to fight a LW. This was a fight that no one was asking for, and the bout served no purpose other than to attempt to discredit another fighter whom May should have fought at the time.

Pac has much more reason to fight Marquez. They have a history, and a lot of people in the boxing community believe that there is unfinished business between them. Hell, even Marquez has been saying this, and it says a lot that he jumped at the opportunity to take this fight even at the 144 catchweight.

In short, there is more reason and justification for Pac-Marquez III than there ever was for JMM-Floyd. That's why Floyd got criticized more for his fight with JMM than Pac is getting criticized for his upoming fight with JMM.

 

I've never been one to make a big deal about Pacquiao's head size, some people just have big heads.......but damn there is a sizeable difference in Pacquiao's head from his featherweight days to the present.

 

It's not he's head that's got big it's he's face that got fat because he's not draining himself to a 130 weight limit anymore.

 

think of it, maybe because pacquiao and jmm was actually the same size and has fought two times before and has history of great fights between them? pacquiao is more like a little man fighting in floyd's welter division. size-wise, floyd is naturally bigger than both pacquiao and marquez.

 

It's not Pac's head that's got big it's he's face that got fat because he's not draining himself to a 130 weight limit anymore. If his showing signs like roid rage, baldness or deteriorating body that's needs preservation then we've got something... Oh wait that's Floyd jr's symptoms.

 

During the Chavez vs Tszyu weighin, I remember a pic of a drained Chavez, his face drawn and as a result his skull looked bigger than it normally looked.

The opposite is true now of Pacquiao. Supposedly he's not drained any longer, so is skull should look proportionate to his face, but instead his skull looks wider than his face.

 

The skull looks the same though his face looks wider so it's give the illusion that's his head looks bigger because it's part of his face. It's ignorant to think that your skull would grow not unless you believe in fairies, I guess I can get that thought... Pac's skull always had been big...

 

Look at this first pic I think of Pac as a featherweight, his cheekbones are stationed looking the same width as the width of his skull. If anything, the width of his cheekbones may be slightly wider than the width of his skull.

Then here, his face is fuller yes (he's not in tip top shape as he's just started training camp) but look at his skull, the width of his skull looks wider than the width of his cheekbones.

Listen, maybe its just Pac's hair style thats making his skull look larger, but it just does'nt look like it judging from the recent pics I've seen of Pac.

I'm ok with not laboring the point, but Pac's head is shaping up to be alot like how Barry Bonds hat size grew from his jump from his switch from the Pirates to the Giants.

 

If you also got the skull size of Barry Bonds compare it from before and now it will be the same. Gaining weight will give the illusion of a bigger head but don't worry fairies are real...

I'll be fair about it, it might just be the hair or the angle of the pic. In that pic with Hatton, it looks more proportionate to his cheekbones.
