    What about that knock down.
Should a count have been applied?

    9.38 replay.

Serge stumbles on sign and both his feet come together. He then begins falling then hit.

    Watch his feet.

To clear up what happen I'll let u guys know
I got taken to doctor after getting hit by a righthand
the doc said can u c I said YES and nodded
doc said are u ok, I said YES and nodded then the doc said ok your fine
I turn around ref just waves it off with not asking myself or doctor Lewis anything
that's why I didn't need to convince the doctor because he was already convinced ...
when I went to the corner and was told to stay calm by my team the doctor came over and stated to all of my team JUST LETTING U GUYS KNOW I DIDNT STOP THE FIGHT I SAID IT WAS OK

Thanks for clearing that up Mr Business, good to have you on board mate!

You got flat out robbed in one of the worst ways and everybody here agree you were on your way to winning the fight after a good showing.

Any talks of a rematch from his team mate, or too soon?

    Thank u
but at the end of the day it's not serge yannicks fault he hit me and cut me, it's the ref not giving my corner Brian willmont and Graham shaw a chance to work on the cut with just 10sec left in the round, that was the wrong outcome..
all good this will make me stronger
p.s I don't go on forums to write just to sometimes read but felt I should put it to rest

There is no doubt the ref was a bit hasty in waiving off the contest.
Props to you for not carrying on like a pork chop and accepting the fact in the way you did. :good

Trip but he got smashed at the same time, I dont think pittman would have wanted the fight stoped thats the best I have seen him in a while and he looked to have some power happening.

I hope we get to see the rematch Clip

There's plenty of comments about this very short fight. I do have a prediction on how I thought the fight was going to go but I'll reserve it for another time.

As for the cut, I too believe it could of gone on but with 10 rounds to go you have to wonder how long before it really opened up. Jamie has a huge scar above that eye with only 20 or 30% having split. 10 more rounds and it may of become a worry.

We gave Jamie a shot in front of his home town ref and judges even though on paper we'd already beaten him ( Jamie's loss to Kwadjo and Serge's win in Kwadjo's very next fight). So it was really a fight we didn't need but fighting on such a huge stage was too good to pass up.

A rematch is very possible but with the WBA ratings coming out soon I'll have to assess Yannick's position and the correct move in progressing his career.

If it does happen I'd like to see it in Melbourne but will consider a fair deal.
