had Berto ahead by a round when the fight was stopped. I really can not see why you hate the guy so much. I've watched 4 of his fights live i think and three of them against Collazo, Ortiz and Zaveck were great fights. He transformed Zaveck face into a pizza face in only five rounds that's not easy to do. His defense is shitty but a lot of Mexican fighters get praised for a similar attitude. Thinks are not only black and white Berto is not on his way to become ATG but he is a pretty good fighter

When you watch the fight again, you'll see that Zaveck only won found 4.

 

I agree on some points, but the fact is Zavecks face was ok, as good as new until that thing on the ropes in fifth round.... Zaveck says it was headbut.... and at the end of the fifth round Berto was ahead a bit on the judges scorecards, but I liked where the fight was going for Zaveck.
I`m a huge Zavec fan... really huge.... but still we cannot complain about the fight, Dejan showed class and ability to fight top welterweights, he showed to the USA boxing fans that he is no eurobum and that he was legitimate champion... But at the end he lost the fight and we cannot do anything about that.
I`m not sure why all the Berto hate, he is fair fighter, no useless trashtalk before the fight, he gave you third really entertaing fight (Colazzao, Ortiz, Zaveck).. so not sure why all the hate, do you guys prefer some boring fighters?
I know it hurts a bit because we know where the fight could go.... but it didn`t, it ended in fifth... **** happened...... I just hope Zaveck will get another good fight in the states and won`t be forgoten... he deserves a big payday, he is a warrior and a gentleman.

Oh and btw all the arguing who won which round.... it`s really hard to tell because all of them were very very close (except round 4, where Zaveck dominated)
