I thought he was shot (as a top level fighter) when he fought Mayorga personally.

He looked awful against Sturm (he really lost that fight IMO) and Hopkins.

KO'd the perpetual B sider Mayorga (who you fight when you need good promotion and a win), and that was it.

Lost 4 of his last 7 fights, with a gift in there (ah, but you could argue the Mosley result).

Vargas was his last really good result IMO, a long, long time ago.

I appreciate he stepped up to middleweight, and didn't cut it which shouldn't really be a black mark, as he just isn't a middleweight, but the last few years of his career didn't really do him any favours.

Lol, De La Hoya himself doesn't believe the things he says, always contradicting himself, and fans are jumping on this comment like he telling the truth? De La Hoya is known for making up **** and telling shameless lies in order to further an agenda or help sell fights he promotes. He wasn't shot against Floyd, he was rusty from the layoff, but still strong, his jab was great, he was able to time his flurries so Floyd had to cover up and wasn't able to counter effectively, and his defence and reflexes looked better than ever, picked off so many punches from Floyd. It was only later in the fight when he gassed that FLoyd started to pick him off more regularly and his offense dropped off.

Oscars a promoter now, so no more truth hahaha. He always had mad excuses even before promoting, but now it's nothing but agenda pushing.

Everyone knows that Oscar was done even Roach was convinced when he trained Oscar against PBF that he can no longer pull the trigger. PBF's fans are the only ones who make it like Oscar was in his best condition when PBF got an SD against him.

No matter what weight it is... Oscar was done... Saying that he's healthy at 154 doesn't change the fact that he is shot. If Cotto fought that 154 Oscar, he would murder him...

Oscar was a pretty huge WW in his prime. Just look at his shoulder width. I doubt Floyd could have handled him

*****s: Floyd fought ODL closed to shot fighter.

    *****s: Pac fought shot ODL.

ODL: I was finished when floyd fought me.

*****s: "Oscar was doing nothing more than trying to give Ortiz some confidence"

*****s: "He's trying to pump Ortiz up for the fight."

Oscar was even more shot of course, but was fighting someone who was 5 weight divisions smaller than him just a year prior, and got KO'd, not a split decision, by the Asian midget.

  15. Take everything this man says with a pinch of salt. He is forever promoting therefore is ingenuine as ****.
