If I was a fat Irish millionaire I would seriously be so tempted to quickly buy a boxing license, start up a new alphabet organisation and fight this guy for the vacant heavyweight title before October 27:

Just to shove two fingers in the face of Martin Rogan. I'd also shove two fingers in the face of Martin Rogan's promoter, who is Martin Rogan.

Rogan has always been a pretty arrogant, deluded mother****er, just took him a while to show those true colours to the rest of you. the sad thing is though he actually believes all this, and so do the irish media (they still call eamonn magee a former world champion).... the belfast boxing fans are not so stupid though..

holy **** hes fighting for a world title?!!! that is the most prestigous belt in the history of boxing...it'd be as funny as **** if he was somehow able to use it, to engineer a shot, at Wlad or Vitali, for a real belt, before he retires

That is a long-winded form of suicide.

Sexton smashed him to bits, fighting Vitali would be dangerous seriously dangerous

For a long time the big 3 didn't acknowledge the WBO, they do now, WBO champions are not ranked and are listed seperately. None of them acknowledge any other bodies or consider them titles to be unified with. A few years back after several years of fights for WBU titles (or others but WBU was very popular for a while) Sky told promoters they weren't accepting those titles anymore, only major titles or the usual domestic titles were going to be fought for on Sky, there have been a couple of exceptions since but generally they've kept to it and it's improved the standard of British/Commonwealth title fights no end. Apparently this WBU isn't even the same one, it's yet another new organisation.

I think tho only proves he wants absolutely nothing to do with Fury. This is a joke fight for a joke belt.

i know it would, but sure for all the hype Haye was absolute wank against Wlad, Rogie couldnt do a worse job than that, if he tried.

disappointed hes not fighting Fury, but he might after this WBU shite
