Anyone else hoping the UFC sign Gegard Mousasi soon?

I think he'd be a great addition to the lightheavyweight division, and he only has 2 fights left on his Strikeforce contract. How do you think he would do in the Octagon? :bbb

He'd posses the best striking in the division and solid grappling skills. His TDD is atrocious though and would most likely be wrestle ****ed to death against Evans.

I'm sure if he started getting UFC money, he'd invest in some top-class wrestling coaches etc.

You also have to consider how young he was/is, it will take him a few fights to adjust to the wrestlers in the UFC but it can be done

IMO he should've gotten the decision against Mo. Yea he was taken down but the damage he inflicted on his back was mesmerizing.

Mousasi needs to go to 185 for me , and he needs some TDD , in general he just needs some wrestling technique , he has terrific stand up and solid JJ , as it stands in the current 205 lb division in the UFC i think he'd provide some exciting fights , because most of the division are stand up fighters who look to finish fights

Put him in with a Rashad or Jon Jones and he's getting manhandled

So i dont really see the point of Mousasi in the UFC @205 , 185 maybe :think

Doesnt really matter to me. 205 is so loaded as it is he doesnt make any bit of a difference. Mousasi hasnt exactly lit up Strikeforce.

Not by much, Mousasi was a national boxing champ, and is undefeated in K1, Shogun has more power though

Shogun is a better stand up fighter for MMA than Mousasi IMO , i know what Mousasi's credentials are , but for me Shogun has the more effective and well rounded stand up style for MMA
