Your exactly right. After Miranda dismantled Willie Gibbs with a single punch, it was very hard to get Miranda a good fight. Finally Allan Green had the big balls to take the fight.

Now I see the same problem happen. But this time even more. Gibbs had been hurt before. Banks never off his feet and barely ever wobbled. The power Edison seems to have at 168lbs is scary. Knowing he could KO you with one solid shot, why would anyone want to get into the ring with him and risk that?

Edison wants the big names. He really wants to get Pavlik at 168lbs, but that isnt happening anytime soon. So if nothing else happens, which a good chance it may not, than Jean will get his wish. Not sure if that is a good thing for Jean though! :good

your boy may have looked a little to good last night. jean will now prepare like never before to redeem himself. hopefully the fight will still come off because with all the build up it should be great while it lasts. do you really think it will be in montreal?

Yea but you have to admit he was never hit cleanly by someone with a good punching power. We can never be sure of a chin that hasn't been tested.

    Excuses, excuses, excuses.
    Lots of them.
    Bottom line:
--- Miranda made a statement in devastating fashion, showcasing what he brings to the ring. Definately positively marketing himself.
--- Pascal never did and instead showcased an inferior performance. This performance has severley hurt his marketability to the extent where most believe that a future fight with Miranda will not be competative.

Miranda can fight whoever he wants but if he doesn't fight Pascal now, he will have to fight him one day because too much things have been said already and they need to settle this now or later but the more Miranda wait, the more Pascal will take experience and he will become more and more dangerous as time goes passes.

Pascal just Can't lose this fight. After all he said, if he lose he won't be able to bounce back. But i know he will give it all in the ring...

Interesting how a left hook turned into a thumb to the eye and buckled his legs in the 7th. The way I see it is if Pittman landed a left hook which didn't seem to have much on it and hurt pascal, I cant imagine Pascal taking Mirandas punch. He doesnt have the physicality of someone like Pavlik to make Miranda fight backwards. I honestly believe that the KO last night had Pascal a bit shaken which prompted him to egg Miranda on... and perhaps he may come in intimidated on fight night.

Maybe Pascal should consider replacing Mark Ramsay by a coach who can get him ready for the major leagues. Howad Grant - Alcine's trainer - would be a positive change.

I really think he his to close with Marc to make this change. He should train with both Grant and Ramsay thought.

I dont know why Pascal is in such a rush to fight Miranda, he is young and needs a few more fights before he steps up to that level of competition. Jean has some decent skills and he should hone them and become a better fighter. A fight with Miranda will surely ruin him.

To be quite honnest i really don't know but every time he tries to get big fight something happens. He is calling out Miranda because he know he is too proud to not fight him...

Jean Pascal certainly may be a little ahead of himself wanting to fight Miranda...but the hype job on Miranda has been incredible ever since he TKO'd Howard Eastman !
Everyone knows Miranda has very good power but he's a very ordinary fighter and can get exposed for that any time a well skilled boxer with a good plan steps into the ring with him !

Also, that's why i hope Miranda actually fight a bigger name for now. Pascal won't pull off the fight. Pascal can't pull off the fight. So if Miranda gets a bigger fight, it will give Pascal enough time to get experience. Why not fight a Lacy or maybe Brahmer for the soon-to-be vacant WBO belt. I mean I like Jean and I think he will win against Miranda but on the other hand I don't want him to become a second Fernando Vargas...
