Based on resume, accomplishments, ability, weight-jumping, etc: 1 - Manny Pacquiao 2 - Bernard Hopkins 3 - Floyd Mayweather Jr
Pacman, takes it , not just because of who hes faced its how he wins. Also people forget Pacman fights away from home....can you imagine facing Pacman in the Philllapines.... Pac should say to Floyd....Ill take the test we will fight in Manilla ..LOL
Joe Calzaghe?? Jesus. History being revised throughout my lifetime. 1. M. Pacquaio 2. F. Mayweather 3. B. Hopkins The above 3 are without a doubt. Other fighters that should be mentioned are R. Jones, L. Lewis, the Klit brothers, S. Mosley, J.M. Marquez, Barrera, Morales. Guys like Barrera, Jones, Lewis, were obviously better during the first half but if you consider head to head, or the mystical pound for pound then they should be included.
this is a good point, we all know what demands floyd has made with OSBT and must train in the US etc.... ... i wonder how floyd would react if manny said ok then no problem but we fight in Manilla im guessing, infact im certain floyd would run a mile
Calzaghe was voted third greatest of the 2000s by the Boxing Writers Association of America, behind Mayweather and Pac, ahead of Hopkins and Marquez. Those are probably a clear cut top 5. He was definately one of the best fighters of that decade. He shouldn't get any first place votes (no doubt done to take the ****), if that's what you're surprised about, though neither should Hopkins.
poll should be public so that we can see those who voted for floyd. well never mind, my guess the list goes like this; bladegunner, floyd_g.o.a.t, samski, pbf24, leon, skillswin, jaguar, ALTS, more ALTS, etc...
