It's gonna be 2 fights in 2 years soon, wtf is that. Lets compare, Bradley December 09' Petersen July 10' Abregu Jan 11' Alexander Khan December 09' Salita May 10' Malignaggi December 10' Maidana April 11' Mcloskey July 11' Judah December 11' TBC (probably Petersen) WTF is Baldy playing at, he's 28 now and he's sitting on his ass!
It's not a matter of resume with Bradley, it now becomes a matter of inactivity. He is no future HOF / ATG yet or anything...
He got it into his head that he's a P4P/big draw type who should be able to pick and choose his paydays and that was that. Alexander fighting Mathysse for $1.2 million is what seemed to have ticked him off, he showed no signs of discontent with management before that. The whole point of him fighting Alexander, and Khan fighting Maidana (which IMO was the tougher fight), was so the winners would meet up to determine the undisputed champ. He's acting like Alexander losing to him and the chance at Khan was better option because Devon got what Bradley sees as an easier fight for good money. Why didn't he throw the Alexander fight then? Shaw got him the Khan fight, the most hi-profile fight he could've secured, for a career high payday, Khan even sacrifices some of the UK PPV to make him happy, and Bradley shuns them because he wanted an easier option like Alexander had for his HBO garaunteed money. As Teddy Atlas would say, he's not acting like a fighter, let alone a champion.
This. Its sad to see such talent go to complete waste, it just shows how much true commitment he has to the sport, its 100% business for Bradley.
This. He mentioned his first child being born and that he would have missed it but his last fight was in January. Inexcusable.
I ndver seen anything that good in him from the start. Khan destroys this guy will ease. Bradleys sucks. And wanting for a pay next year with khan. Get paid and retire
Bradley over values himself. He thinks that by beating Alexander (who isnt all that great himself) automatically puts him in line to fight Pac or Floyd! He wants the payoff without having to put the work in.
Not knockig pac but arum has a habit of putting him in with fightersmthat look bad or are coming off a loss, if i were bradley id take the khan fight for a career high payday and loose to the much better khan, which puts him in a very good spot for pac fight (especially since arum knows khan is a close friend an sparrin partner so that helps so much in trainin for him).
Arum has put Pac in with the guy he felt would generate the most money at the time. Bradley coming off a loss won't be worth a damn to Arum, Bradley knows this.
