:good good post and the only young heavys that i see winning titles after the klits retire are arreola, solis, and chambers of course there are many others but these are the only former klit challengers that i see take it only because they dont seem to be "scarred" of their losses like the others especially arreola
Whether or not Lewis would give Vitali a rematch is not important. Lewis beat him, when Lewis was out of shape, way past his prime and out of shame. A prime Lewis was obviously a much better fighter, so I don't see how anyone can ever ever ever even try to say the result would have been anything other than a Lewis win 9 times out of 10. Regardless of if an old lewis wanted a rematch or not. He is the best fighter either brother has faced. And he won. He beat Vitali and certainly would have beaten Wlad. Unfortunately for the brothers they haven't faced anyone else near Lewis' quality. But in the same way you have to make allowances for them being in a weak division 'its not their fault' - which is entirely true You can't go calling them this and that, top 1, 2, 3 atgs, when the better brother, fought an out of shape ATG and was stopped mid-fight.
I love how Lennox Lewis has been reduced to a 30 IBS too heavy, so-freaking-unmotivated-that-he-tried-to-lose-the-fight-on-purpose, 8 year past prime, defenseless slacker, in his fight against Vitali.. Most people considers the 99 or 00 version of Lennox a prime version.. So, lewis was only 3-4 years past his very best.. Lennox fought 5 times in 99 and 00 he weighed 250 IBS for his fight against Botha, that is 6 pounds less than what he weighed against Vitali..
Nope. Don't exaggerate. But he was past his best and beat him. So at his best he beats him also Not sure why its a debate
