Oh I almost forgot, now being a non title fight he should also travel and give 100% of the purse, for him it would be an investment for the future. Do a charity fight now and earn big later.I mean Froch,Kessler,Pavlik,Johnson they are all bums with high reword low risk type of fights. He basically has no risck whatsoever. Except that Bute beats old Johnson rather easily in Canada. To me Johnson is an ok fight because he will pressure Bute a bit, but Bute is a good fighter (and no amount of immature Bute fans will make me change my mind on that) and he has a style very well suited to deal with Johnson.

Bute never made more then 1,3 millions for a fight , in fact he made more then 1 million only 4-5 times in his career. And you're number aren't real . Bute biggest crowd was 14 000 and you will never see 600K PPV , Bute his only known in Quebec were the population is 7 millions so you won't have more then 150 k PPV

 

I don´t consider Lucy as a fighter at all. limited Andrade gave him a fight and Lucy fell apart Golovkin gave him a fight and Lucy fell apart. What has Lucy done that he deserves being considered as a fighter? He smashed inferior semi pro oponnents put their health on the line but wanted none of anyone with a pulse also tried to duck out of the Johnson and personally I have my doubt that the fight is going to happen until i see both men in the ring and the opening bell rings. I don´t understand how anyone can not be disgusted by that fraud? I know his fanboys act like boxing is a competetion about who looks the most spectacular smashing a certain bum but it isn´t. I want evenly matched fights thats for example why there are weight classes in boxing so physically disadvantaged fighters also get the chance to showcase their skills in evenly matched fights. they weren´t established to get the likes of Lucy an excuse to keep fighting bums for years. Golovkin is more versatile than Johnson but when Golovkin is in his brawl mode hes quite similar to Johnson. Johnson it think he has a reach advantage anyway he is able to time his punches properly and as far as their signature punches are concerned Johnsons overhand right will get the better of Lucys left uppercut in my opinion. Johnson comes on enclosed hes going to get inside where Lucy doesn´t want to be, where Lucy is defenseless, helpless and panics and takes him apart no problem at all. Of course the fight will take place in Montreal theres a possibility that they allow Lucy to again bring one or this time maybe even two of his personal bodyguards with in the ring who then act as a referee and try to help him and prevent Johnson from fighting the fight he wants. It has happened before i know its possible but in a fair fight Johnson wipes the floor with Lucy any day i don´t see any problem at all

That's why promoters are even thinking of staging fights like Dawson-Hopkins in Montreal also. The money is there and the promoters want the most money possible all the time
