    Obvious why UFC is going with this:

    -Cung Le sells a lot of tickets in San Jose

    -Guaranteed stand up action

    -Belfort wins, he legitimises himself for another crack at Silva (in a soccer stadium in Brazil I imagine)

    -If Le wins, Silva has another attractive challenger. Also, they can sell their unorthodox striking battle

    IMO Le has been out far too long, and was never that great to begin with. Fun to watch of course.

    This is a little dissapointing for me , you've pretty much hit the nail on the head as to why its happening but the hardcore fan will see this fight as somewhat of a free pass for Belfort

    There are fighters out there stylistically who would provide Vitor with some serious problems , but maybe not as marketable as Vitor so you can see why they have dont this

    the best defence is a good offense. Frank Shamrock wasn't no slouch with his hands either. I dont think u giving lee much credit. He is just as quick a striker as Belfort. im 50/50 and wont miss this fight thats for sure

    That's true fella, but he's been tagged cleanly by a straight right counter when kicking by every guy he's fought and it will only take a couple from Vitor to get the kod imo.
