No he didn't. Go look at the RBR, McCloskey clearly won 7 rounds, you know but hitting gloves and getting jabbed to death in the face. Forget about the KD, his nose being busted up, and getting rocked badly twice. Come on that was no robbery...
I had it 115-112 Prescott but I really have no sympathy for him. Proved once again his endurance is absolute ****. No reason fight should have even been this close.
I agree but Prescott clearly won rounds 1-3 with a KD and 5-7. McCloskey clearly won round 4,8,10,11 with 9 and 12 being close rounds. Anyway you slice it, Prescott won. However Prescott had McCloskey out on his feet in the 5th and didn't finish him. There was no way he was winning a close yet clear decision in Ireland.
Mclowney is a pure dick head, he said Prescott didn't have any power after six ends.....he's walking at the end of the fight like he had ten pints of guineas....he's the same guy who said the amir khan fight was going to plan....rofl
While he did get robbed, it's still partly his fault. Non-British fighter doesn't usually get a decision in british fights, and going to the guy's backyard he had to be expecting this. His cardio was simply not up to par, and a world class fighter at such low weight should not be gassing out so early.
prescott needs to go jogging and get some stamina he's used to knocking out mexican road sweepers within 3 now he's stepped up in class he's realised his stamina turns to **** and power turns to nothing after 5 rounds
Robbed? Really? So you had Prescott winning something like 9 or 10 rounds? Just saying Robbery makes you an Idiot.
Look up robbery in the dictionary. If there is no way one guy could have won a fight but did, it is a robbery. It doesn't matter if it is by one round or nine (I just thought of the Fast and Furious, "It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, a win is a win").
Presscott aparently had a lot of trouble making the weight, we saw how that affected Ortiz. It's not over for him if he keeps improving and trying. He has a win over Khan, that may very well get him a shot at a title sooner or later.
It was a close fight, not a robbery. Prescott clearly won rounds 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7, while McCloskey won rounds 4, 8, 9, 10, 11. The swing rounds were rounds 5 and 12, and if you give both rounds to McCloskey, you arrive at the same score as the judges.
