Yep, I forgot Shamrock, Smith and Noones
Yep he got poked in the eye when Shields tried to drive in because he couldnt cope with a BASIC jab & GSP's lateral movement

LOL re-read this statement please, prove to me that GSP couldnt take Diaz down

    A
Do you even watch Diaz fight. He had no answer for Cyborg's leg kicks, or KJ's lateral movement, or Daley's hooks., other than rush forward flailing his arms. Re-read my point about lateral movement. He's got to rely on catching GSP stationary for this to work

My current WW rankings go as follows :
    1. St Pierre
    2. Fitch
    3. Condit
    4. Diaz
    5. Sheilds
    6. Penn
    7. Alves
    8. Koscheck
    9. Ellenberger
    10. MaCdonald
I think ranking Diaz so highly at 4 is debatable , but i do think he's that good to hold down a ranking that high , therefore for me , anybody ranking Diaz above 4 is slightly overrating him , i know there wont be many people ranking him as highly as i do . I have positions 4 - 9 interchangable depending on what you consider the main factors to be in ranking fighters but thats how id line them up right now

Back to the original question , for me Overeem has to be the most over rated fighter in MMA currently , im kinda hoping he KO's Brock though because Brock is another 1 dimensional over rated HW too :deal , and id actually like to see Overeem do well although i dont think he'll be the elite HW we may of thought he was ...................

I don't think Nick Diaz is overrated. He has some real solid wins against some of the best to ever grace the sport. People are too quick to write off his win over Gomi at his peak or that he retired Frank Shamrock or that he won and defended his belt at Strikeforce several times over.

Why I try to debate with you.... of course Gsp can take Diaz down, but Diaz will fight to hurt Gsp and not be intimidated by gsp's takedowns like everybody else (except shields of course and Matt sera) he will also fight off of his back. Gsp got busted up striking against shields because of an eyepoke? Ok…..then fedor lost to hendo because of the eye rake he received and he could no longer see the punches. talk about not giving credit to fighters.

wtf? Diaz had no answer against Cybogs kicks Kj noons lateral movement, daley’s hooks? But of course as you know diaz won those fights convincingly, I think that’s what matters. Besides, since when does Gsp throw kicks as hard as Cyborg, or powerful hooks like Daley. Gsp has mastered footwork? Seems like he just hops in and out of striking range to me, Gsp is no Giorgio Petrosayan.

Also please remember that Gsp is the guy who avoids striking with strikers, Diaz is the guy who although he can take it to the ground proves himself agiants strikers.

Ps. how is Diaz overrated when nobody rates him even in the top 3, few rate him in the top 5, and to some he is just a can crusher who they wouldnt rate in the top 10.

    Not overrated at all.

Im not denying Diaz credit, he won the falling over last contest against Paul fair and square.

Yep, he won those fights convincingly, it's just a coincidence that the only guy who displayed any lateral movement and didnt engage in a who falls over 1st contest managed to go the distance against Diaz

As I said, Diaz is dangerous when you stand in front of him and swing

I don't think he is overrated really. It seems to me that the vast majority of people made GSP a red-hot favourite to beat Nick, and I believe most people think that the real top level ww wrestlers like Shields, Fitch and Koscheck would probably be too much for him as well. He's rated as what he is IMO - a top 10 welterweight with some excellent skills but some limitations too.

Overeem is more overrated because many people seem to think he's the top dog at hw despite having a **** resume at that weight.

    Alves??? :nono

Alves hasn't stopped anyone in years, can't fight against wrestlers, and basicaly hasn't looked good in a long, long time. Ranking him that high at this point in time is unjustifiable.

Diaz sucks. GSP would've schooled him every second of every round.
Jones is a phenom, crushing everyone that other top fighters would be in wars with.
