It's a tough one. On paper you would think Perez could KO him early but the sheer laziness of the man puts a serious question mark over his head. After winning prizefighter he should of been fighting almost every month and getting his name out there.

Fury on the other hand seems to me to be the most improved fighter in the last few years, every fight he has moved up another level the way I see it. I would forget about his first bout with McDerrmot, he's such a far better fighter since then.
For Fury's age group, 23 and under. I would say he and Gerber are head and shoulders over everybody else. So the future looks good for him.

It's very close to a 50/50 fight for me. Really could go either way.

Apparenly the fight was offered to perez but they declined to fight even though he was due to fight tonight. He was supposed to fight jonathan banks but he fought in poland tonight. So for someone who cant get anyone to fight to turn the chance the fight on channal 5 against someone with the reputation of fury make me think he or his "people" just didnt think its a fight they could win!

I've only really seen Perez in Prizefighter and he basically did what the whole tournament was set up to allow him to do and that was win. But to be honest i didnt sit there and think that guys something special .
Does he have the power to KO Fury within a couple of rounds as some people are suggesting . Fury seems to have a decent chin and is 7 foot tall about 18 stone with decent mobility and skills .

I like Perez but I don't know what happens after 4 rounds when I think he deterioates. Fury used to deterioate, has improved a bit, is still in awful shape but makes up for it by gritting his teeth.
