If Jones dramatically beats Tito then Hopkins - Calzaghe if off!

    I think Hopkins will fight Jones in a long delayed rematch if that happens.

    Just a prediction.

    i agree...hops knows that calzaghe will end his career...I dont think hops is the delusional type, he knows his body has been slowing down for years now

    if jones wins, hops may as well go along with the calzaghe bout. by the time hops and jones come to terms, it'll be june.

    I've had a feeling for a while now that he was going to pass on a Calzaghe fight and sign to face Jones if he beat Trinidad. I'd be very disappointed if that were to happen.

    I would rather that fight first. RJ vs Bhop then the winner fights Calzaghe.

    That would be the all time greatest ducking in boxing, which i know B-pops is capable of! I dont think it will happen now though, too much has been said and too much has been documented in the news that the fight is going ahead, if the jones- trinidad fight happened before xmas with the outcome being a big Jones k.o then i think this could have happened but not now.

    I would be extremely disapointed. I want to see Hopkins get beat the **** down :good.

    I do not want to see the shell of a former great get the crap kicked out of him if he were to beat Hopkins.

    yep, two of the most reliable men on the planet. it will probably happen but i wouldn't completely rule out hops going after the RJJ bout instead, especially if we don't get an offical announcement about calzaghe-hopkins this week.

    It would be disappointing but from a business point of view, Hopkins stands in a strong position... ie, Calzaghe's offering me $9M, what can you do to better that?

    How ironic would it be that both Hopkins and RJJ and stated quite clearly that they BOTH want to fight Calzaghe next but he would end up without either.

    Hopkins will put up a very good fight and I wont be the least bit surprised if he upsets Calzaghe.
