Both are heavyweights with a so-so resume. Tyson's best win was Michael Spinks. Vitali's best win was Chris Arreola, Juan Carlos Gomez and Tomasz Adamek. Their resume is not among the best. However, they are great H2H and that's why they rank highly. But who would win a fight between the two? I'm talking about prime Vitali Klitschko against prime Mike Tyson. Who wins?
I think Vitali's chin could take Tyson's punches. However, I don't like how Vitali would do against Tyson's combinations and general agressiveness. I also don't trust so much on Vitali's balance against a swarmer like Tyson. He would be able to hold Dempsey, Baer, but maybe not Tyson or Frazier.

Vitali. Tyson is too little and would be worn down by Vitali's jabs and chin. Just an awful matchup for Tyson.
damn i just posted my thoughts on this two secs ago on different thread. awesome fight tyson got speed, power and in prime unbelievable lateral movemnt and head movement. his bum touches the ground when hes bobbing and weaving. i dont think Vitali would handle tyson inside.(no uppercut well not like lewis) although cant see tyson lasting if its kept at vitalis distance. tyson equaliser is his body work , vitalis is his chin.
Exactly. The one that fought Green, Tillis, and a host of others. Vitali beats Tyson everytime. Jab, jab, and hold if Tyson got close. Really, really easy.

More or less a 50/50 fight. I picked Vitali. I think he could survive the early onslaught from Tyson and wear Tyson down late in the fight. Its hard to pick smaller guys over Vitali.
Vitali easily. Tyson was the softest HW of all time. Never beat anyone above a C level fighter and was bullied by every real fighter he ever fought.
