The death of Holyfield has been confirmed?

On a serious note, I hope Holyfield calls it a day after this one.

so if holyfeild wins this, will he be classed as the oldest heavyweight champion ever? or will it be just another grey area in the sport? you know, something like "well holyfeild was the oldest champion when he won the WBA title but technically Wladimir Klitsckho was the real WBA champion at the time but he was promoted to the WBA super champion which then allowed Holyfeild to fight for the WBA regular championship title, so really you could say that Foreman is legitimately the oldest heavyweight champion"

F***ing sport does my head in sometimes

No, he wouldn't be the champion. Whereas Foreman beat the man who beat the man.

Atlas has big problems with Povetkin's management. They've been angling to get him fired ever since he came on-board.

We don't have a man who beat the man at the minute though. Lewis retired as champion.

This fight annoys me twofold, mostly due to the fact that Holyfield will boast about beating B-Hop's record if he beats Povetkin and because of the WBA's idiotic decision to make Chagaev/Povetkin for the legit WBA belt, he can lay claim to it.

For those reasons solely, I'm cheering for Povetkin. Not being all twatty and "OH **** THIS FIGHT IT'S AWFUL **** IT." If Holyfield wants it, let him have it. He's only beating himself up.

Yeah but it was the same when Marciano retired or Ali was stripped in the 60s. A new lineage gets established. Wlad's beaten everyone out there except his brother, to me at least he's the lineal champion now.

That's a problem in my eyes. Now I don't want to see brothers fight it would turn into a circus, but I don't think Wlad can claim to be the man while Vitali is still around.

It's a tough one in my point of view.
