I know what you are saying but im only going on what i was told. Tommo's crew havent heard anything about a broner fight anyway, so we are only speculating.

There was no talk of young Burns having weight issues for the last 6-8 months when he was calling out a 38yr old Mzonke Fana to fight for Fana's IBF strap (before Fana was stripped by the IBF) so they could square off for the 'Ring' belt also as No.1 and No.2.

Tell Mr W@rren to send the tattoed young Richard to 135lbs and we have a Filo out here by the name of Ranee Ganoy who'll more than happily come to the UK to allow Burns to test the 135lbs waters. W@rren will probably love Ganoy's loss record and that seem's to be the priority when he's selecting Burn's opponent's through his short defence 'reign'!

Been taken off Boxrec and Burns is vacating to move up. I rekon Tomlinson and Rodriguez would have to be looked @ as sitting ducks with good records and good ratings with the WBO.

 

tomilson will not be fighting broner on HBO on 26th nov, there is no way HBO are going to go for that fight, they could not give a flying **** about the WBO and there title.If broner won`ts the reported $300 000 plus for the fight he will be a top 130 or 126 fighter.

 

Certainly a bit of a shame that it looks like Burns and Broner won't be squaring off. Burns apparently wants the fight (Seconds Out interview), but his trainer doesn't believe he can make the weight easy enough (he's on the Brit forum). Must say, I'm surprised he's been making 130 for that long, he's huge for the division.

Don't think Ranee will be getting a call up (can he still make 135 anyway??). Burns will be going straight in for another title fight straight up.

 

I think the plan is for tomlinson to win the ibo belt and then become the mando to face broner for the wbo belt.
